A bit more about us

We visit various businesses, charities and organisations every single week to deliver wellbeing singing sessions for employees and staff. We know first-hand what a difference a staff choir can make to the workforce.

We deliver fun, engaging and accessible sessions which are open to anybody and everybody, regardless of ability. Our songs are uplifting and emotive, designed to help develop skills. We definitely don’t use sheet music and we don’t even use lyric sheets. Everything is taught by ear for the ultimate participant engagement. Not only is it something exciting and different to do during the working day but it also strengthens bonds between colleagues. Singing is powerful and we want more people to experience it.

SINGING IS SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN TO IMPROVE EMPLOYEE WELLBEING

A recent study by the University of Leicester found that singing in a workplace choir can help to reduce workplace stress (96%) and feelings of social isolation (86%). The research states that “organisations should seriously consider encouraging their staff to regularly participate in singing groups to improve wellbeing, engagement and potentially job performance”.

“35% of work-related ill health is attributable to stress and that it’s estimated that mental health problems cost UK employers £26bn per year? Dan Cooper
Founder & CEO

Dan is a professional vocal coach and choir leader. He knows first hand how powerful group singing can be. He wants to change the perception of the word ‘choir’ and bring high quality, fun and accessible choir sessions to businesses across the UK.

Sue Rogers
Finance Officer

Sue has a wealth of experience looking after a number of different varieties of administrative and financial tasks. Her career started in banking and she now loves supporting the growth of the business. Sue looks after all things finance here at SingForce.

Gavin Munn
Team Leader

Gavin is a professional singer who has toured the world. He’s sung with household names and even starred in a Hollywood movie. Gav brings a tonne of fun and energy to everything he does. He looks after our SingForce leaders and assists with the day to day running.
